Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 September 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Innolope LLC, a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States (“Innolope”, “we”, “us”, “our”), governing your use of MovieMaster (previously released as Cronicle) — our website, application and API (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account, or by otherwise accessing or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and “you” means that organisation.
2. The Service
MovieMaster turns written scripts into storyboards and video. It analyses a script into characters, locations and shots, generates character portraits and shot images, and generates short video clips from those images, using third-party generative AI models. It also exposes an MCP endpoint so AI agents you authorise can perform those actions on your behalf.
We are continuously developing the Service and may add, change, suspend or remove features, including the underlying AI models. Where a change materially reduces core functionality, we will give reasonable notice.
3. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, to use the Service. You must give accurate registration information and keep it current.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including actions taken by collaborators you invite and by AI agents you give an API key to. Keep your password and API keys secret, and tell us at [email protected] immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts to obtain additional free credits.
4. Credits, plans and payment
4.1 How credits work
Generation is paid for with credits. Each action has a published credit cost, shown on our pricing page and in the app before you act. Credits are deducted when an action is accepted for processing. If a generation fails on our side, the credits for that action are automatically refunded to your balance.
Credits are a limited licence to use the Service. They have no cash value, are not a stored-value or gift-card instrument, are not transferable between accounts, and cannot be redeemed for money except where the law requires it.
4.2 Purchases and subscriptions
You may buy credit packs outright or subscribe to a plan that grants credits each billing period. Payments are processed by Creem or Stripe; by purchasing you also accept the payment processor’s terms. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes, which we will add where required.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access and any remaining credits until then. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice before a renewal.
4.3 Refunds
Except for the automatic credit refunds described above, purchases are final and non-refundable once credits have been added to your account, unless the law where you live provides otherwise. Consumers in the EU and UK have a statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days, which is lost once digital content has been supplied with their consent — that is, once credits are delivered or used. If you believe you have been charged in error, write to [email protected] within 30 days and we will investigate.
If payment fails or is charged back, we may suspend your account and withhold access until the balance is settled.
5. Your content and what you generate
5.1 You own your input
“Your Content” means the scripts, descriptions, prompts, reference photographs and other material you submit. You keep all rights in Your Content. You grant Innolope a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit and process Your Content, and to share it with the providers named in our Privacy Policy, solely to operate and support the Service for you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in backups for the period described in the Privacy Policy.
5.2 You own your output
As between you and Innolope, you own the images and video the Service generates from your prompts (“Output”), to the extent such rights can be owned, and may use them for any lawful purpose including commercially. Your use of Output is also subject to the terms of the underlying model providers.
Generative models can produce similar output for different users from similar prompts, and Output may not be eligible for copyright protection in every jurisdiction. We make no warranty that Output is unique, original, or protectable.
5.3 Your responsibilities for content
You represent and warrant that:
- you own or have all rights necessary to submit Your Content and to allow us to process it as described;
- Your Content and your use of the Output do not infringe anyone else’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights, and do not break any law; and
- you have any consent required to upload a photograph of a real person or to generate a likeness of one.
The persona library included with the Service depicts fictional characters generated by us; you may use those portraits within the Service and in your own projects.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to create, upload or distribute:
- sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexually exploits or endangers a child — we report such content to the authorities;
- non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexual or intimate depictions of a real identifiable person without their consent;
- deepfakes or impersonations of real people intended to deceive, defraud, defame, harass or manipulate — including synthetic media of public figures presented as genuine;
- content that incites or glorifies violence, terrorism or self-harm, or that harasses, bullies or promotes hatred against people based on a protected characteristic;
- disinformation about elections, public health or emergencies, or any content presented as real footage of events that did not happen;
- material that infringes copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights, including reproductions of protected characters or branding; or
- anything else illegal where you or your audience are located.
You also must not:
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code, model weights or prompts underlying the Service;
- use the Service or its Output to train, fine-tune or benchmark a competing generative model;
- circumvent credit accounting, rate limits, safety filters or access controls, or use automated means beyond our published API and MCP endpoint;
- resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties as a standalone offering; or
- interfere with the Service’s operation, security or other users’ use of it.
Our providers apply their own safety filters, and a request may be declined for reasons outside our control. Declined requests do not consume credits.
7. Collaboration and sharing
You may invite others to a project as editors or viewers. Editors can change project content and spend your credits on generation; viewers can only see the project. You are responsible for who you invite and for what they do with your projects and credits. Remove collaborators you no longer trust from the project’s sharing settings.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service — including its software, interface, design, documentation and the MovieMaster and Innolope names and logos — is owned by Innolope LLC and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or compensation.
9. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties, including Google (Firebase and the Gemini family of models), Cloudflare, MongoDB, Sentry, Unsplash, Creem and Stripe. Your use of features that rely on them is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for their availability, performance or acts, and an outage or change at a provider may interrupt or alter the Service.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may carry out maintenance, and may suspend the Service where necessary for security, legal or operational reasons. Generation times depend on third-party model capacity and are not guaranteed.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your projects and generated media as described in the Privacy Policy, and forfeits any unused credits.
We may suspend or terminate your access, with notice where practicable and immediately where necessary, if you breach these Terms, if your use creates legal risk or harm to others, if payment fails, or if we are required to by law. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid subscription period.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination do — in particular sections 5, 8, 12, 13, 14 and 15.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, CONSISTENT, SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSE OR FREE OF THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING OUTPUT BEFORE RELYING ON, PUBLISHING OR DISTRIBUTING IT.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot be waived by law.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INNOLOPE LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Innolope LLC and its officers, members and employees from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your Output, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in the State of Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue — except that, if you are a consumer resident in the EEA or the UK, you keep the benefit of the mandatory consumer protections and courts of your country of residence.
Before filing a claim, please contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms; if you do not, stop using the Service and close your account.
17. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Innolope about the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
